However, the Air’s Delta-E accuracy score of 0.2 was the same as the XPS 13. The XPS 13 OLED notched a higher 117% and 83%, respectively. The Air M2’s display registered 107% of the sRGB color gamut and 75.9% of the more demanding DCI-P3 color space. Things looked just as good in terms of color reproduction and accuracy. That’s slightly better than what the MacBook Pro M2 turned in (474/490 nits) in the same tests and brighter than the Dell XPS 13 OLED’s 357-nit average. It averaged 489 nits of brightness and peaked at 495 nits with HDR content.
The MacBook Air M2’s panel impressed in our lab tests as well. This is a much better option within the budget: I'd avoid that one, the base clock speed on the CPU is lower than SI recommend for FM. I’ve found this laptop and wondered if this would be appropriate, or if anyone had any better suggestions. Ideally it would have a HDMI port so I can plug into a monitor when I am able to play at home.īudget is £500-700, although I could stretch a bit if the perfect machine was available for a bit more. My main opportunity to play FM is on the commute, so portability is key. In terms of FM, I prefer the 2D match engine and rarely run more than 5-6 leagues. The laptop will be used for FM22, general internet usage, and admin (word, excel etc).

I’ve been playing FM Touch on an iPad for the past few years but am looking at going back to the full version after the announcement of Touch not being released on tablet anymore. I’m looking for a new laptop to play FM22. Looking at a couple here, any idea if these are a decent shout or if there's better on Amazon ? Budget of around £300-500 and preferably sourced from Amazon as I have a voucher. Mainly just to play FM (usually like to run 5-6 nations) and general Internet/ email stuff. Hi guys, my old laptop finally gave up on me this week, so looking for a new one.
